Hi there! I’m Rachel. Most days you’ll find me on the couch with my puppy Ella close by, a smile on my face and an iced chai tea latte within reach (I make mine at home, so I don’t spend a gazillion dollars at Starbucks!). I graduated with a fashion merchandising degree in 2016 and began a creative marketing career. I always loved photography, but it became a serious passion for me while I was working my full-time job. In 2019, I decided I HAD to be a photographer full-time and I couldn't be happier to be living out my dream job!

My camera? It’s the tool I use to capture all kinds of love. The love of a new husband and wife. The love of a little boy looking up at his mom. The love of a dad giving away his daughter on her wedding day. I am a photographer, a lover of authenticity, and a storyteller. I created Risen Vintage so that I could combine my creative talents to give my clients the best possible experience because you deserve it!

    My husband and I just got married in October, and we had the best experience with Rachel from the start! From the first inquiry phone call, we knew that she was the right photographer for us. Without a doubt, she delivered on our wedding day! We have the most beautiful photos and fun memories of our special day. We could not be more thankful for how professional and efficient she and her husband were, and how easy she made it to pose for photos. The hardest part of this entire experience will be picking our favorite photo. Thank you for your hard work Rachel! We enjoyed working with you tremendously.

    Our original photographer told us at 10pm the night before our wedding he wasn't going to be able to make it. We had a slight panic moment, but then started looking for local photographers that might be able to help us. Rachel responded quickly and was willing to take on the last minute job. We loved her style, she was fun and easy to work with, and our pictures came out absolutely perfect. We can't recommend her enough! Thank you so much, Rachel!

    Rachel was amazing to work with! She was very on point making sure all of the pictures we required were taken. She was pleasant to work with and stayed in contact with us through the whole process to make sure our needs were met. She hadn't photographed at our venue ever before and she took the time to meet us there for one of our trips (we had a destination wedding in TN) to get familiar with the venue and what our wants for our pictures for our BIG DAY!!
