I’m a brown girl who was raised in the 90s and I grew up with an endless love for all things Little Debbie and Hostess. A few years ago I set out to build a business around making baked goods that would bring people joy. I bounced around with a few ideas, but once I made my first batch of oatmeal cream pies (OCPs), it instantly became clear…throwback snacks are just kind of my jam. We’ve since expanded our lineup from OCPs to other throwback classics—all scratch-made from quality ingredients plus a little bit of science and a lot of whimsy at our bakery in CLE

My boring professional title is full time wedding and engagement photographer but you can look at me as that fun, weird chick that you’re totally going to be friends with, spend some time wedding planning with and take lovely photos with. My name is Bailey Verona McKarns! (She/Her) My middle name comes from my great- grandmother, and I am quite proud of it. I grew up in a small town in southern Ohio on a certified Angus beef farm. I come from a very large, Irish family. I am a huge animal lover and a people pleaser to the core. I am a Taurus, ESTJ, enneagram 6, and my love language would be “words of affirmation” (if you know what half of those mean then I love you already!). I graduated from Carrollton High School in 2018. I am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Language Arts Education and Mild to Moderate Special Education at Kent State University.

In 2013, my love story began and in 2016, Matt and I tied got married! Two years ago, we moved to the Middle Tennessee with our two dogs, Brutus and Leonard, to start a new adventure in our lives. Most Saturdays growing up, I spent in a high school gymnasium competing as a baton twirler. If I wasn’t at a competition, I would spend my Saturday mornings with my parents watching dog shows.
