June of 2012. Just two months after my mom was critically injured and hospitalized. I began using my camera as an emotional outlet. I started taking portraits for family and friends, and eventually, photographed a courthouse wedding. As time went on, it hit me: These photos are freaking important! And I knew from personal experience that these moments, & the people in them, aren't going to be here forever. That camera became so much more than an outlet. It gave me purpose. I am based in Rociada, NM + Fort Collins, CO. I am a wife, a mama of two girls, + love what I do. For the past few years, I have bounced around a bit + have had the privilege of photographing weddings + families all over the country. WHO I AM: hi, i'm jules!! a wedding photographer originally from denver, colorado - serving couples all around colorado, maryland, kansas + everywhere in between and around! i live where my husbands job in college athletics takes us, so i meet wonderful couples all over the country! the days i'm not behind the camera (or computer!) are spent at breweries with my husband grayson and our pup mack! we love colorado winters and ski + snowboard our snow days away! i love photographing special moments between couples, from the snuggly days on the couch with your pups to your wedding day with family + friends surrounding!
