I fell in love with photography and taking photos at a very young age. For as long as I can remember I have always been taking photos or had a camera in my hand. For 17 years now the award winning recipe for The Texas Gypsies sound is to perform the “Vintage Jazzy Swingin" cool hep cat sounds of the Great Gatsby era 1920's, plus a mix of the Big Band Swing sound of the 1930's and 40’s, add in a taste of its sister sound, Western Swing, sprinkle some Django style Gypsy Jazz over the top and finally finish up with a pinch of Retro Deco Rockin Roll! I am a Dallas-based photographer running around fields third-wheeling the best people on the planet. How's that for an official job title? I'm a classic Enneagram 4 with a strong 3-wing. I am obsessed with all things creative and travel. I am a die-hard fan of Jesus, movie nights, and the Sonic Drive-thru. I am currently living the broke college student living on a hill I call home at Dallas Baptist University. I am studying Communications and will graduate in December 2022. Formerly members of rock and country cover bands, the musicians got together (Thank-you, Craigslist!) with the idea of creating something old but new, with no genre borders. The horse-apple bearing bodark (bois d'arc ) tree seemed an apt symbol for these transplants from the farm to the city. That twisted hardwood, still found growing wild in suburban medians with its massive green fruit, is a stubborn reminder of the old days when it was used to hedge in cattle.

Hi! I'm Tiffany, I’m a professional makeup artist and Freelancer. I always did makeup as a little girl but never thought it would be my passion until I decided in 2015 that I wanted to do more besides just going to work every day. That’s when I started doing my homework and practicing my craft. I began freelancing on my own, finding clients and promoting myself. I spoke it into existence and in 2017, I began working for MAC.

Mimosa Hall is a classy new venue in a beautiful country setting. Located on a hill among mature oaks, we are just a short drive south of Fort Worth. Our family decided, after attending many garden weddings and receptions over the years, that we could improve upon these experiences and create a beautiful and comfortable venue for special occasions.
