Brindle and Lark is named after my 85lb brindle pitbull that I’m obsessed with. I’m a huge animal lover in general and I also have a cat and a tortoise! If I were on a dating show I’d let you know that I’m also a true crime junkie and a foodie. I love trying new things to eat. I’m a big TV and movie buff with my favorite being horror and scifi! I’m a little bit socially awkward but that doesn’t stop me from having a conversation with anyone and everyone. I’m a huge people person and love to laugh! I was a photographer in college but after filming my cousin’s wedding for a favor I absolutely loved it.

We are the Whiskey Raccoons, an Acoustic Duet. We have one original album out (2017) and are releasing a variety of singles throughout 2021. We also play cover songs ranging from the 60s all the way up to today in all genres of music and customize playlists depending on the venue we're playing. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
