My husband and I started this bakery in the middle of the pandemic in 2021 with the dream of making products that we're proud of. Since then we are proud to have won the award for best desserts in State College and continue to enjoy it all to this day.

I enjoy baking, so when my daughter needed to raise funds for her missions trip we started "baking for a cause." Our baking endeavor to raise support for my daughter's missions trip has blossomed into my passion and a full bakery business! I have found something I really enjoy doing which also allows me to incorporate my creativity. Baking for me is more than just throwing together a few ingredients. For me, it is more about creating a new design or personalizing a product. It's about doing something for someone else! We are located in the Fresh Markets of Hershey-stop by and give our products a taste!

Sweet Confections Cakes has been in business for more than 29 years. We are proud to have local customers and customers that travel from as far as California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Maine, and Virginia to purchase our cakes. We also travel with large cake and have traveled as far as Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington DC and West Virginia. The staff at Sweet Confections Cakes has a combined total of more than 30 years experience in Sugar Artistry, Pastry Arts, Baking, and Teaching Cake Decorating.
