A lot of little girls grow up imagining their dream wedding day. I was like most little girls and dreamed of my wedding day for as far back as I can remember. After working my first wedding when I was in high school, I realized that I loved weddings far too much to only plan my own. I wanted to help others make their dream wedding day a reality, thus Simply Splendid Events was born! It is my desire to partner with each couple and create an unforgettable wedding day that showcases their love for each other.

I grew to love photography as a kid. I got my first point and shoot camera at 12 years old, and I spent my time capturing images of hummingbirds. Once I had my daughter, I gained the courage to start doing photography as a business!

We currently have 1 male vocalist and 2 female vocals. We do have the ability to add instruments and vocals upon client request. All of our musicians are experienced, professional, and seasoned. We enjoy playing good music covering various genres such as Motown, R&B, Soul, Pop, Classic Rock, and Rock 'n' Roll. I grew up in South Mississippi with a huge family, primarily sisters. I’ve been into makeup for as long as I can remember and really jumped in around college. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and 3x trained lash artist. I’ve been doing weddings for a little over 3 years and I love this industry!

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

Chef Bre is a Mississippi native. She was classically trained at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts in 2015. Chef Bre is an experienced and talented personal chef with a broad range of cuisine specialties to share in a variety of venues.

Our DJs have worked in widely varied settings, making our musical knowledge more diverse than many. Over the years, we have performed at many weddings, birthday parties, and other family functions. We feel that the rates we quote are very competitive and we ABSOLUTELY guarantee that we will NOT cancel any event for any reason. Over the years, we have found that the type of music that we are playing directly affects the people at the event. This is the thing that sets us apart from other DJs. We feed off of the good time that the guests are having. We LOVE to entertain people. We always want everyone to have a GOOD TIME!
