Shepler's Ferry
Taking a ferry is your ticket to the island! Just a 16 minute ride from either Mackinaw City or St. Ignace. You can book your ticket in advance online or in person at the docks. Murray/Livingston wedding code: vows22 Overnight parking available Be sure to check the ferry schedule when you are planning your travel. Ferry's typical depart every 30 minutes, but if you miss the last boat you will have to wait until the next day to get to the island!

Pellston Regional Airport is the closest airport just 12 miles from the ferry docks. Call ahead to reserve seats on the Mackinaw Shuttle 231-539-7005. Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City is 2 hours from the ferry docks in Mackinaw City. This location would require a car rental.
