Another great way to see the island! Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental locations downtown Mackinac- Mackinac Wheels and Bike Barn just to name a couple. Grab a map and hit the trails or take the shore road all the way around the island.

Head to Mission Point lawn for a round of putt putt and a beer!

Our favorite spot! Enjoy the Pink Pony's famous Rum Runner on their patio with live music and views of the harbor.
The Original Mackinac Island Butterfly House
With hundreds of butterflies, the Butterfly House is the first of its kind in Michigan and the 3rd oldest in the US. Walk through the garden to experience butterflies from all over the world.

Visit the Grand Hotel for a spectacular view on the world's longest porch, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac! Enjoy a drink at one of their many bars, take a stroll through the historic hotel or take a dip in their famous swimming pool.

The Wawashkamo Golf Club is a nine-hole links golf course laid out in 1898! Rent some hickory sticks if you want the full experience!
British Landing
Go to our favorite place! British Landing is a spot exactly half way around the island. A perfect place to stop for a dip in the lake or one of the Cannonball's famous fried pickles. This is also where Zola's family home is and where we got engaged!
