Do I need to arrive Friday?

Answer

Nope. The wedding starts at 6pm Saturday so if it's easier to arrive Saturday, that's totally fine.

Do I have to stay at the recommended hotels?

Answer

Not necessarily. We have secured room blocks at three hotels within 15-20 minutes of Blue Hill at Stone Barns (our venue). You are welcome to book accordingly at any of these (see Travel & Lodging tab), or book your own accommodations. Heads up that the World Cup will be taking place in NY/NJ at the same time as the wedding, so book as soon as you can. *If you did not book through the room block link and plan to use the hotel shuttle to or from the venue, please notify Sean at (425) 652-8674 or seanmcd37@gmail.com.

Cocktail casual. Think nice dinner vibes.

What should I wear for the wedding?

Answer

The attire is formal but not black tie. Long dresses and suit/tie encouraged! See our wedding page that says 'Attire' for visual inspo.

Can you get an Uber in this area?

Answer

Yes, but they are scarce. We recommend scheduling in advance or being prepared to wait for a car.

Will there be transportation from the hotel blocks to the venue?

Answer

Shuttles will be picking guests up at 5:30pm from The Opus, Courtyard and Sheraton. Return shuttles will be departing Blue Hill to bring guests back to the hotels at 11:30pm and 1am. If you booked via the room blocks, there is no action needed for hotel transport. If you are not booked through one of the room block links, but plan to utilize hotel shuttles, please notify Sean (425-652-8674 / Seanmcd37@gmail.com).

Can I bring my kids and/or can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate and within the venue's capacity, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. Thank you for understanding.
