If you are planning on flying, Denver International Airport (DIA) is the best option. This airport is about two hours outside of Vail. Renting a car or shuttle transportation is needed if flying into DIA.

Don't want the hassle of renting a car? There are various shuttle options for round-trip transportation from DIA and EGE to wherever you are staying in Vail. Some carriers offer set-schedules shuttles, while others offer the ability to book on personal need.
Rental Car
Consider renting a car at DIA if you do not want to book an airport shuttle. However, once in Vail, a car is not required to get around. There is a free Vail bus that can take you around town.
