After the bridal party wraps up the invite only rehearsal dinner, feel free to meet us at one of our favorite bars in Lionshead, Garfinkle's!
4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
Please note there is NO parking at the Vail Golf Club. The Vail Golf Club is a quick 10 min drive from the town of Vail. Timberline Tours will be providing transportation for our guests picking up from Lionshead Village Welcome Center (bottom level of the Lionshead parking structure) starting around 4pm. Unless you are finding your own transportation, this will be the best way to get to the ceremony and reception. We will provide more details on timing closer to the date. Want to find your own way? No worries! Uber and Lyft both operate in Vail but may not always be reliable. We highly recommend using one of the following Taxi companies if you chose to find your own transportation there (both of which allow you to reserve ahead of time): - High Mtn Taxi: hmtaxi.com; 970-524-5555 - Ride Taxi: ridetaxivail.com; 970-949-1111
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Black-Tie Optional - women in midi or long dresses, men in suits or optional tuxes
Please note - weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside. Please bring a jacket as it gets chilly in October as well as wear comfortable shoes that can make it through grass.
5:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Black-Tie Optional
Following the ceremony, we will head to our cocktail hour on the patio and lawn of the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse. Our reception will take place in the Gore Range Room with dinner, drinks, and dancing! There will be transportation back to the town of Vail after the reception starting at 9:30pm.
11:00 pm
Why should the fun ever stop?! The buses from Vail Clubhouse will be making 2 stops on the way back - the first in Vail Village for those who'd like to join us for an afterparty at Shakedown Bar, the second back in Lionshead Village for those wanting to head back to their lodging.
10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Casual Attire
Ryan's parents, Joan and Dean Akiyama, have graciously offered to open up their home just down the road from Vail Village for a Saturday morning brunch to those who'd like to join. There will be bites and beverages (breakfast burritos and sandwiches, fruit bowls, pastries, mimosa, coffee, beer, etc). Feel free to swing by prior to a day of hiking or watching college football (it's a big game day!) Texas vs. Oklahoma @ 1MST!
