The Lodge at Sugar Bowl

This is where all the events for the weekend will happen. The Lodge is very remote (on top of a mountain) and somewhat challenging to get to from town. We would prefer as many of our guests as possible to stay ON SITE at this location to take advantage of private access to the grounds all weekend and relax while enjoying the celebrations! Please contact us directly for booking rooms at the Lodge. Space is limited so please contact us before April 20th!

Reno (RNO)

At approximately a 1 hour drive, Reno is the closest and most convenient airport for our Out-of-Town guests! Take Interstate 80 west. You will take Exit 174 towards Soda Springs & Norden. Turn right on Highway 40 eastbound, and continue 3.5 miles past Sugar Bowl's Village Gondola parking lot to Sugar Bowl Road. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Parking Lot. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are directional signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area. From San Francisco: Approximately 3.5 hour drive From San Jose: Approximately 3.5 hour drive From Sacramento: Approximately 2 hour drive Take the Bay Bridge to Interstate 80, head east toward Sacramento/Reno. Just before you reach Donner Summit look for the "Sugar Bowl Next Exit" sign then exit at the Norden/Soda Springs off ramp. Turn right on Highway 40 eastbound, and continue 3.5 miles past Sugar Bowl's Village Gondola parking lot to Sugar Bowl Road. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Parking Lot. Follow the road in and veer to the right where the road splits into parking lots. There are directional signs that will lead you right into the courtyard for the hotel and reception area.
