What is the Dress Code?
Answer
"Dressy Casual Outdoor Festive". There's a new wedding dress code for everything! . . . Who are we kidding, we made that up. Don't google it. We're hoping for our guests to wear something that looks sharp, but is still comfortable for a day full of activities, many of which are outdoors. Men - feel free to wear short sleeved collared dress shirts (fish tacos & pineapples encouraged). Please no jeans. Ladies - Think outdoor summer wedding attire! High heels are not the most suitable for the terrain at the venue. Comfortable cute shoes for dancing is key!

Are My Offspring Invited?

No. In all seriousness, we love your kids (most of them), but it is our strong desire to celebrate with the version of YOU unchained from the demands of parenting. We understand that it's a lot to find babysitters and greatly appreciate you making it work!

Obsidian ridge has four washrooms, and a shower facility is located in the camping area.

Is There a Registry?
Answer
We've been living together for a number of years now so we're forgoing a traditional gift registry. Please, no physical gifts. We are asking for Cash gifts only to go towards our honeymoon. Thanks!

Are There Special Venue Rules?
Answer
Obsidian Ridge is a licensed venue, so there is no personal alcohol consumption allowed on the main grounds. There'll be a toonie bar, fully stocked! No glass is allowed anywhere on the grounds. The gates close at midnight, if you are not planning on camping at the venue - you will need to arrange transportation before midnight. Please check the Venue & accommodations page for more details.

What is a Onesie Party?
Answer
We love celebrating in our onesies and encourage you to bring one out for the bonfire at the end of the night. There will be music, late night snacks, and good laughs to be had. If you don't have a onesie, we encourage bringing a silly hat.

Will there be an ATM for the toonie bar?
Answer
No, please plan ahead as there is no ATM available once you are at the venue.
