1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We will be happily welcoming our guests to the grounds on Friday May 6th. Those who choose to camp on site and need to set up camp and/or those who wish to lend a hand in set up or just want to check out the trails are welcome to come anytime after 1 pm. We will be placing décor, moving some furniture and playing lawn games. There will be a casual rehearsal happening on the field at 3:30 for wedding party and family. This will be followed by a welcome dinner that all our guests are welcome to join! We will be having a classic BBQ with a really great live band!
4:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Casual Attire: This is a very casual classic backyard BBQ. Please come comfy and relaxed! You will be sitting on raw wood picnic tables that live outside, so don't wear anything you'd mind getting a little dirt on!
We will be hosting a welcome dinner for all of our guests to get to know each other, tell stories and eat good before the big day! We are so excited to take this time to really chat with all our loved ones and have a little casual fun before a big day of formalities and timelines! If you have eating restrictions that are not listed on the meal preferences, please contact us directly so we can make sure to communicate this to our caterer and have options available for everyone! This dinner does require an RSVP, so please let us know if you will be joining us. Can't wait to see you there!
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Come as you are!
We will have lawn games out on the lawn and a small bouldering wall open for supervised kiddos to play on from 11am to 2pm. This is a great time to take in the trails and sights the venue offers. We will not be supplying food for the first part of this day, so this a good time to also check out some food spots nearby. Feel free to bring coolers of food and use the kitchen in the covered pavilion as well. If you have kiddos who need to nap between activities and the party, keep in mind that there are 70 bunks in the upper part of the main hall. Feel free to bring a blanket and a pillow and put them down in there during the break. Heck, if you need a nap, we encourage it! You’ll need to rest for the dance party later! We are asking guests to be clear of the lodge and field at 2pm for our team to get the final touches for the ceremony and reception set and ready to go.
3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Garden Attire: sundresses, floral prints, however you would like to embody spring! Ceremony and Cocktail hour are in a meadow and we will be dancing on concrete, so heels are not recommended. Most importantly, feel good in whatever you wear!
The processional will start at 3:30pm. Please give yourself enough time to find the ceremony and get into a seat before that time. 4:00-5:30pm-ish cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony on the lawn Family and group photos will be happening on the lawn during this time. 5:30-10pm reception in the lodge Please remember that there are bunks and plenty of places for you to stay. If you find that you have celebrated our love to the max, please make the choice to say on site for the night. If you aren't planning on camping this night, bring some blankets and pillows in your car just in case. If you have eating restrictions that are not listed on the meal preferences, please reach out to us directly so we can make sure there are options for everyone.
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Casual Attire: This is mostly for those who have stayed on site and/or those who wish to help us with clean-up. The breakfast will be self serve (think continental breakfast).
Feel free to sleep in! We don't have to be out of the venue till 2pm. We will be hosting a Spielman's Bagels breakfast and coffee in the morning from 10am-noon. Come when you want and help yourself in the kitchen of the main hall where the reception was held the night before. Those who wish and feel inclined to help with clean up during this time will be super appreciated! If you are camping, please be sure to clean up your site and leave it as it was when you arrived. There is trash on site, so please be sure to place any trash in that receptacle. If you did not stay on site, do not feel obligated to come back for this part! But everyone is welcome to join in and give us a farewell hug. :)
