Visiting the Parthenon involves a bit of a hike up a hill, which takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as some paths can be rocky. We also recommend purchasing tickets online in advance—especially in June—as lines at the ticket booth can be long. Afterward, check out the Acropolis Museum at the base of the hill. It’s built on the remains of archaeological ruins, with glass floors that let you see the history beneath your feet—a really unique experience!
