Q&A

What is the RSVP deadline date?

We plan to send out formal invitations in the middle of May. We will ask that you please RSVP no later than June 20, 2026.

What time does the ceremony begin?

The Bedeken (read about this on our Jewish Wedding Traditions page) and cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 5:30 p.m. The ceremony will start at 5:45 p.m., immediately followed by a tented reception.

How can I get to the Catskills?

You can rent a car (2 hour drive from NYC) or take a shuttle. Please visit our Travel & Accomodations page for more details.

Have you reserved Hotel Room Blocks?

Yes, please visit our Travel & Accommodations page for more details.

Will there be shuttles available to/from the hotels?

Yes, please see our Travel and Accommodations page for more details.

What will the weather be like?

In late August, daytime temperatures are typically warm and comfortable, with highs around 75–82°F. Evenings tend to cool off, with temperatures dropping to about 55–60°F after dark. We suggest planning for warm daytime weather and bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening, as it can feel noticeably cooler once the sun sets.

What should I wear?

Visit our Schedule Page for the suggested attire for each event.

If I am driving to/from the wedding, where should I park?

Free parking is available on-site.

Am I able to take an Uber/Lyft?

Rideshare services are highly unreliable (often not available at all) - we do not encourage you to rely on these. We will have shuttles transporting you to and from your accommodations, should you choose to stay at one of our blocked hotels.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! We are happy to include children at our wedding. Please be sure to note your child's age when you RSVP.

If I have additional questions, what should I do?

Feel free to reach out to our wedding planner Cathy! Her email address is cathyselegantevents@gmail.com.
