Our Story

Gavin and Yael met as juniors at Tulane University, living just a few doors apart. What began as neighbors quickly became more. They were soon inseparable. Their days filled with simple joys—runs through the park, spontaneous dance parties, and late nights with friends. After college, Yael started law school while Gavin pursued medicine. They moved in together on Webster St, a home known for long dinner parties, open doors, and laughter. Whether traveling the world or curled up on the couch, Gavin and Yael are happiest simply being together. Along the way, Gavin converted to Judaism, a journey that has brought them even closer. Together, they study Torah, host holiday gatherings, and build a Jewish home. On a summer evening in Jerusalem, Gavin asked Yael to marry him, surprising her by proposing in Hebrew. They have found in one another a true partner and best friend, and cannot wait to continue their journey together in Miami, where Gavin matched into Anesthesiology residency.
