Take the altitude VERY seriously. Please start hydrating a few days before you come to Denver, hydrate the most the day you arrive. If you are planning on drinking, it's best practice to alternate between an alcoholic drink and water. Altitude sickness creeps up on a lot of people and can cause severe vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, and potentially fainting, which will absolutely ensure that you will not have a good time :). Please take it seriously and make sure you are hydrated and take it easy the first day you are here to acclimate.
Colorado is known to experience all 4 seasons in a single day. In September, plan for a slightly warm day and a chillier night...aka bring a jacket.
Please do not wear white. Seriously...do not wear white. Cocktail, please. We want you to feel comfortable, so if those heels are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Our theme is an Italian/Tuscan, wear something you'd wear to a dinner out in Italy or a garden party overlooking Lake Como. You want to feel good. Please leave behind the too-tight pair of spanks or the dress shirt you wore years ago and make sure you're able walk around comfortably after a few drinks ;)
Colorado has an excellent public transportation setup. The train options are in the Travels section of our website. As always, there are Lyft and Uber rides as well. We highly recommend renting a car, as this will give you the best access to most attractions Colorado can offer.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please make arrangements for a baby sitter.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, no.
Transportation will not be provided. If you are planning on drinking at our reception, please pre-book an Uber or a Lyft to get you back to your hotel or rental safely.
