Our lovely venue owner/host Christy offers onsite camping (tent or trailer [no hookups]) for any wedding guests! Can't get any closer to the venue than this. If you plan on partying hard, consider this your safest and most convenient option! Out here it is so peaceful- you'll be surrounded by open pastures, views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens on a clear day and steps from the venue restrooms for your convenience.

In the heart of old historic downtown Centralia, Rachel's hometown! Downstairs is an awesome restaurant, movie theater and bar. Catch a movie FREE as a guest here! There is an active railroad just behind the building and rooms share four bathrooms with other guests, but if you are looking for a charming, historic stay with walkable restaurants and shops and free parking this is the place to be! It is about a 30 minute drive to the wedding venue from here.

Mayfield Lake is located 15 minutes east of the venue and is a destination for families looking for an authentic PNW getaway. The further east you go on highway 12, the more mountainous the landscape becomes. Beware that this is a two lane highway that is heavily travelled by tourists, locals and semi trucks so travel with care. Enjoy chilly, foggy fall mornings, wildlife and the vibrant changing leaves mixed with our famous evergreens! The mountain towns of Morton and Packwood offer many cabins and homes to accommodate one or multiple families, or if you are looking for a little more "city" Chehalis also has a selection of homes for rent! If you are coming from PDX, Kelso and Longview near the Columbia River may offer some stays for your visit that are not so far off the beaten path.

Another historic stay! Walking distance to one of the best breakfast & lunch spots in town and lots of other restaurants and shops, you can get a taste of Rachel's hometown. Some rooms share bathrooms with other guests, but not all. This stay is about 30 minutes from the wedding venue and no need to worry about traffic- we don't see much of that around here!

OYO Hotel Centralia or Chehalis

DO NOT STAY HERE! Posting this as a warning! No need to go into details, but just know the fire department and police frequent the OYO in both Centralia and Chehalis often. Please consider any other place!

Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Suites

Another no frills plus a pool chain right next to I5! Short drive to Historic downtown Chehalis, restaurants and shops. Plan on an easy 20 minute drive to the venue from here.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Grand Mound Centralia

This is a very new hotel in the area right off I-5! There are less dining options nearby, but the new brewery/restaurant has some good eats and brews to enjoy. You'll be about 30 minutes from the wedding venue here and 15 minutes from downtown Centralia if you are craving more dining options or some window shopping!

SeaTac Airport - SEA

Seatac offers lots of flights and is also a great choice if you want to explore the greater Seattle area during your visit! Keep in mind that the traffic can be atrocious - we lived in the area for almost 2 years and Rachel commuted to SeaTac a lot so we know it all too well! Plan accordingly- without traffic the drive south could be 1.25 hours, but traffic can easily make it a 2+ hour endeavor.

Flight

Portland Airport - PDX

Portland runs less flights than Seattle, but the drive north is generally very light with traffic making for a swift trip. It is approximately 1.5 hrs from PDX to the venue and surrounding areas that offer lodging.

Local and Public Transportation

For those coming from out of town, know that you are not coming to a city. Centralia is considered "the city" out here weighing in at about 17,000. Onalaska has a population of 544! You'll find all you need for food & lodging in town, but our guests should take extra care when planning transportation arrangements. Uber and Lyft don't run around here, but we do have cabs for when you're in a pinch. They just aren't super reliable. Please plan responsibly as we realize this is may be an inconvenience, especially with alcohol consumption likely. A rental car or carpooling with other guests will be your best bet! ***We are researching shuttle options- stay tuned!*** Public Transportation: Amtrak does run from Seattle to Portland with stops in Centralia and Kelso. https://www.amtrakcascades.com/centralia The city bus will not run out to Onalaska but does have service in Centralia and Chehalis. https://twintransit.org/routes/
