Gifts are not required, but we have created a registry if you feel so led. Our registry can be accessed via the "Registry" tab.
As we currently live in the Seattle area and will be traveling to our wedding via plane with limited capacity for additional items, we would greatly appreciate if gifts would be directed to the following address: 830 Mill Avenue Snohomish, WA 98290 That said, there will be a basket at the wedding reception in which cards may be left.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Longleaf Vineyard in Marshall, NC. The address of the property is: 36 Hallaran Drive Marshall, NC 28753 Once on site, please follow all posted signage to the ceremony drop-off space, where passengers may exit the vehicle and staff will direct drivers to the parking area.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 4pm. We recommend that you arrive approximately 30 minutes early to ensure all guests can park and be seated in time for the event to begin as scheduled.
There is ample parking on site at the venue. That said, carpooling is encouraged for those who are able in order to ensure there is plenty of room for all parties. Once on site, please follow all posted signage to the ceremony drop-off space, where passengers may exit the vehicle and staff will direct drivers to the parking area.
Fall in the southern Appalachian Mountains is beautiful! Generally, the weather in early fall is mild, with daily highs usually in the 60s and lows in the 40s and 50s. That said, mountain weather is largely unpredictable! It may feel chilly to some, especially of an evening or with a breeze, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to maintain warmth and comfort.
Weather permitting, we plan to hold the both the ceremony and reception outdoors. We want to enjoy this beautiful time of year as much as possible! The ceremony will be held outside at an uncovered site, while the reception will take place in a covered, semi-enclosed outdoor space. If inclement weather threatens our outdoor plans, there is an enclosed space at the venue that will be utilized.
There is no set dress code for the event. We welcome you to come as you are! What's most important to us is the opportunity to share this special day with you! If you'd like to know for reference, the wedding party will be donning semi-formal attire.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will take pictures on-site. In the meantime, guests are encouraged to enjoy beverages, passed hors d'oeuvres, music, and fellowship during cocktail hour until the reception commences. In addition, the wine cellar will be open for wine tasting. A more detailed schedule of events can be found on the "Schedule of Events" tab on our wedding website.
Yes! Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served after the ceremony during cocktail hour, and we will share a meal at the reception. Two meat entrées and a vegan option will be available. In addition, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer will be offered. Please notify us of your entrée preference (meat or vegan) when you RSVP.
Unfortunately, due to limited seating capacity at the venue, we must limit attendees to those who received an invitation.
Yes! While we prefer our guests refrain from using cell phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony, we encourage you to document your memories throughout the event and post your pictures on social media using our wedding hashtags #WonderfullyWoltman and #WoltmanWedding
No. Unfortunately, most accommodations in the Asheville area do not offer discounts during the fall season, even when rooms are blocked for events such as weddings. Therefore, due to the already heightened accommodation rates during peak season, we have chosen to have our out of town guests select accommodations that best suit their needs and desires for their stay.
