Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Prado at Balboa Park, 1549 El Prado, Suite 12, San Diego, CA 92101. The ceremony will be held outside on the south side of the restaurant in a plaza called the Casa del Rey Moro Garden. The reception afterwards will be inside in the main ballroom.
Please be seated by 3:45 p.m.; the processional starts promptly at 4:00 p.m. If you’d like a relaxed stroll through the park or photos in the courtyard, plan 15–20 extra minutes.
Dress to impress—cocktail attire or garden‑party chic that’s sharp yet comfortable enough to keep you out on the dance floor all night long.
Late‑July afternoons in Balboa Park average 74–76 °F with coastal breezes after sunset. The 30-minute ceremony will have limited shade, so bring sunscreen & sunglasses. A light jacket or wrap is wise once the sun goes down.
Balboa Park provides 3,000‑plus free parking spaces. Follow park signs or your GPS, and note that lots near the venue are often full—be ready for a pleasant 10–15‑minute walk to The Prado by allowing a little extra time.
We adore kids, and a handful of our own siblings’ little ones will be joining us, but we’re otherwise keeping the celebration adults‑only so each of you can relax and celebrate to the fullest.
Prado’s chefs can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten‑free, and allergy‑sensitive meals. Let us know on your RSVP card and you’ll be well fed.

Yes! We'll have an open bar available, so you can enjoy drinks throughout the celebration. Cheers!
We’re having an unplugged ceremony—please silence phones and let our photographer capture the moment. Snap away once we’re officially married!
