Are you afraid of heights? We are, but this is worth checking out! North Carolina's oldest travel attraction. A short, scenic walk includes views of Grandfather Mountain, Table Rock, and Hawksbill. Garden waterfall, observation tower and unique gift shops. Handicap accessible.
In case you want to hurl like Jordyn does on roller coasters! In neighboring Banner elk lies North Carolina's first alpine coaster. The track's length of 3,160 feet includes three circular loops (you do not go upside down), a series of waves, and several twists and turns for plenty of excitement. Fun for all ages, this thrill ride reaches up to 27 mph at the control of the rider. We recommend reserving an appointment in advance as they fill up and be prepared to wait with anticipation building!
