Jordyn and Jonathan met the old-fashioned way — at a trivia night neither of them wanted to go to. No matchmaking, no dating apps, just a random introduction that somehow led to forever. They both went to Florida State University at the same time, were in the same service fraternity, and still never met. They became friends first, bonding over escape rooms, throwing axes at walls (legally), and their mutual love of pets and family. Friendship turned into love, and somewhere along the way, they realized life’s just better (and weirder) together. When they moved in, they didn’t just combine closets — they merged pet families. Jordyn’s two cats and Jonathan’s two dogs now live under one roof, forming a small, slightly dramatic animal kingdom. Jonathan loves to cook, and Jordyn balances it out with what she proudly calls “high-quality children’s cuisine.” Nuggets, mac and cheese, bagel bites — it’s a vibe. Now, they’re engaged, building a life full of laughter, fur, and food, and they can’t wait to celebrate it all with their favorite people.
