In 2019, we met as counselors at Camp Treetops

"Thank you for being so open with me last night, and giving me a space to share as well... I think you are just about perfect for this place and I, for one, am really glad you came this summer." -Nick

"Thanks for making this place warmer. It's hard doing new things, but talking with you puts me at ease. You have an incredible mind; your wit and sense of humor rock my socks..." -Harley

A little over a year into our friendship, Harley gave Nick this ring. Nick continued to wear it on a chain around his neck for years.

We got to know each other in new ways. We each met the other person's community, our love growing into one we could share with family and friends.

Somewhere in there, Harley proposed to Nick. Sometime not long after that, Nick's ring was lost in Round Lake. Sometime not long after THAT: Nick found the ring with an underwater metal detector?!!

Nick proposed back, and we've both managed to hold onto our rings ever since ;)

As soon as Nick finished up school in Pennsylvania, he joined Harley in Vermont.

Burlington isn't too far from Camp, and we find our way back as often as we can.

We feel incredibly lucky to have met and grown within this environment, and are thrilled to share it with you as we celebrate our wedding day.
