Welcome Dinner

This is a chance for everyone to get to know each other a bit before the wedding! Rock-E House is right across the lake from Camp Treetops (our venue), so it's also an opportunity to become acquainted with the area. For the musically-inclined among us, we'll have a hootenanny going! Feel free to prepare a song you like, or just come sing along. There will be a guitar or two, but bringing your own instrument is encouraged. We'll also have beer, wine, and pizza (veg & GF options available) There is no planned group transportation for the Welcome Dinner. Please carpool as you're able.

Arrival

A coach bus will be making rounds to the hotels in the area. If you would like us to arrange for the bus to stop at your hotel, please let us know where you are staying. If you plan to drive onto campus yourself, please arrive on time and pay attention to the attendants and signage regarding parking. If you have limited mobility and require accessibility assistance, feel free to let us know so we can help coordinate. Campus is pretty big, and it may be a long way from the parking area to the ceremony location.
Ceremony
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Wear what you would to a backyard wedding (if that backyard was the best place in the world). Shoes optional!
For more info on dress code expectations, please see the "FAQs" page. A note: weather in the Adirondacks can be a little unpredictable. We've had late summer days where the afternoon is sweltering, only to have a torrential storm come in for under an hour and cool things down by a LOT (especially after it gets dark). Please prepare accordingly. The ground will be grassy / gravely / uneven, so please take this into consideration when considering your footwear (so maybe leave the stilettos at home).
