FAQs

The Wedding Website of Harley Winzenried and Nicholas Waddington
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is "Adirondack Backyard Wedding." This means you should wear what you would to a backyard wedding (if that backyard was the best place in the world). Think semi-formal. Shoes optional! On colors: we're going for an ADK palette - so earth tones, sky blues, jewel tones. For reference, see the photo above. That being said, there's no wrong way to dress. Please wear whatever makes you feel like yourself :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you were not explicitly told by Harley or Nick through the invite process that you may bring a plus one, then you may NOT bring a plus one. We'd love to have all of our loved ones' loved ones in attendance as well, but we're trying to keep things pretty small.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Treetops is for kids and they are more than welcome! But please note that does not mean that the reception will be 100% kid friendly (explicit music, no guaranteed high chair availability, alcohol, fire in fireplace, large body of water etc.) so bring them at your own discretion, and with the intent to keep a close eye on them.

Question

What about the weather?

Answer

Weather in the Adirondacks can be a little unpredictable. We've had late summer days where the afternoon is sweltering, only to have a torrential storm come in for under an hour and cool things down by a LOT (especially after it gets dark). Please prepare accordingly. The ground will be grassy / gravelly / uneven, so please take this into consideration when considering your footwear (maybe leave the stilettos at home).

Question

Can I stay on campus?

Answer

None of the cabins or tent platforms will be available for use.
