What is the dress code for this wedding?

Answer

The dress code is "garden party formal"; for ladies we suggest a midi- or floor- length dress and you are free to choose brighter colors or patterns. For gentleman, we suggest a suit or tie but lighter, more casual, colors are ok. Groomsmen will be in tuxedos and Bridesmaids will be in lilac dresses. Please keep in mind that the wedding will be partially outdoors with the ceremony on grass so be mindful with your choice of footwear. Also, it will be May in Rhode Island so, while it will be beautiful, the temperature might drop a bit when the sun sets. If you wear jeans or a white dress, our security guard will kindly escort you into the Narragansett bay.

This event will be an adults only affair. The only children present will be part of the wedding party.

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

There is ample parking available at our wedding venue! However, we will also have buses available to shuttle guests to and from the wedding so please feel free to indulge in our open bar!

We would be extremely appreciative. There will be a gift table inside the mansion with a box for cards.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the "travel" tab for our hotel blocks. Both hotels are in Middletown which is one town over from Newport. There are also plenty of great places to stay in Bristol, if you want to be closer to the venue, or Newport, if you want to be in the cute area.
