The dark, damp January weather didn’t stop sparks from flying during Sarah and Edward’s first date in 2023. After weeks of friendly banter on Hinge and a few Watson puppy pics to sweeten the deal, Sarah and Edward met at the Crown & Crow in Washington, DC, where they were the last customers to close their tab. Over the next year and a half, the two would face numerous life moments that would strengthen their bond. Sarah got a new job, Edward raised a field-bred English Springer Spaniel, and both moved into a cozy Dupont Circle apartment off P Street (Sarah did all the work). While these events were important, it was the intimate moments shared at local cafés, ice cream boutiques, and dog parks that interlocked their hearts forever. Sarah would soon awaken Edward’s love for travel after single-handedly planning a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Edward would return the favor exactly one year later by planning a trip to New York City. Little did Sarah know (she knew) that Edward planned to pop the question at the MET Cloisters in Upper Manhattan. After a few days of celebrating their engagement, the two returned home to begin their wedding planning. They would be honored to see you there.
