Matron of Honor
Lindsay is Kate's oldest sister. Although 7 years apart, they've always been incredibly close. Growing up, they often slept in each others' rooms, as they share a love for snuggling. Kate was actually lucky enough to live with Lindsay and Mike when she first moved to Chicago! Mike did not share the same love for snuggling, as he would come home to Lindsay and Kate, plus 2 dogs in his bed. Kate then moved across the street from Lindsay (and Mary Beth) while they all lived in Lincoln Park! The 3 found it hard to not be together 24/7, sisters really are the best of friends! Lindsay is still in Chicago with her husband Mike and 3 kids, Elle, Claire, Ryan, and baby Nate!
Best Man
Brent is the younger brother of the groom. Austin taught Brent everything he knows about athletics, and more importantly, life. Austin enjoyed having a younger brother around and passed as much knowledge as he could onto Brent, even if it fell upon deaf ears. Austin has always admired Brent's fiery competitiveness he developed from a young age. It was this competitive spirit that caused a metal baseball bat to be whirled at Austin's head after Brent was struck out in backyard baseball. Austin and Brent had many more encounters like this but only allowed for both of them to sharpen their skills as they grew up together. Austin and Brent now enjoy attending sporting events, cheering on the Purdue Boilermaker basketball teams, and visiting their new niece, Ayva.
Matron of Honor
Mary Beth is Kate's other older sister. Mary Beth and Kate have spent countless nights staying up too late with a glass (bottle) of wine, and late night talks (or Saturday Night Live). Many of these nights were after losing a softball or volleyball game in a league they played together in Chicago, with their brother Kent. Mary Beth, Lindsay, and Kent have been Kate's best friends since day 1, and that has never changed. Mary Beth lives in Lakeview with her husband Scott, little guy Michael Jay (MJ), smiley Sarah, and sweet dog Case Kacyn (pictured). Fortunately, Kate and Austin get to visit the sisters in Chicago often to spend time with the growing families!
Best Man
Tyler (Smitty) is Austin's best and first ever friend. Smitty was one of the founding members of the backyard baseball crew and an original Little League teammate of Austin's, as their dad's partnered to coach their teams from ages 6-12. Their father's also happened to be shipmates in the United States Navy prior to this. Smitty and Austin have stayed close throughout every stage of their lives including little league baseball/basketball, high school athletics, different colleges and into their young adult lives. Austin's favorite memories of Smitty include the time he was hit so hard in Little Grid-Iron football that he retired, and being teammates on a State Runner up baseball team their Junior year of High School.

Houston and Austin's friendship started at Wabash College where they were on the basketball team together and were eventually roommates after Austin regretfully turned down living with Houston his freshman year. In college, Houston could always be counted on to bring a band of comrades out to the baseball field to cheer on the Wabash Baseball team when Austin pitched. Houston and Austin were also roommates in Indianapolis after College and enjoyed hanging out with friends and talking NBA basketball. Their bachelor pad living scenario ended when Houston tied the knot to his know wife Johanna where Austin served as a groomsman. Austin is excited to have Houston as part of his wedding crew!

Kent is Kate's older brother. Kate has basically spent her entire life following Kent around, until he moves to a new place, where she again finds him and moves as close as possible. Kate and Kent are only two years apart, and have a strong bond with enormous love for one another. At Bowdoin College, and in Chicago, Kent would have Kate over for weekly dinners and talks. Kent and Kate are a package deal of best buds. Kent was the last Winingham sibling that Austin met. While intimidated to meet Kate's only and older brother, Austin was impressed immediately by Kent's ability to seamlessly entertain an entire room and make every relationship he has feel personal. Kent and Austin share their love for their flat nosed dogs, Layla the frenchie and Auggie the Boston Terrier.

Austin and Kate love meeting up with Brock, or having him over for drinks and his famous Buffalo chicken dip and other appetizers. Brock is currently finishing Medical School at Marian College.
Bridesmaid
Megan is Kate's longest friend! Megan and Kate have known each other since birth, as their parents met many years ago before kids were even a thought. The two families have grown up together, which is why they have referred to each parent as Aunt and Uncle since the day they were born. That leads to cousins for Megan and Kate, right?! Well, most people think they are sisters, so it works out being cousins. Although Megan and Kate have always been considered family to one another, they really became close during their time at Cathedral High School. They are now lucky enough to be living 10 minutes from each other, and love enjoying wine nights at the apartments, even if it means Austin and Megan take over the remote to watch sports center. Megan is now a health coach around Indianapolis!
Groomsman
Scott is Austin's future brother-in-law. Scott, affectionately known as Scotty-Watty is the father to one of the ring bearers of the wedding, MJ. Austin enjoys opportunities to play golf with Scott on his visits to Indianapolis. In his free time Scott is a masterful bartender and cook, and enjoys making original cocktails for Austin and Kate to try. Scott was always a good sport when Kate would show up nightly to hang out with him and Mary Beth during her Chicago days. The night often ended with Kate staying in the 2nd bedroom, and Scott happily making breakfast for the 3. Scott has not only had to listen to a lot of girl talk, but forced to participate as well. Scott and Kate have always bonded as they share a similar sense of humor. We can't wait to see Scotty on that dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Kelly was Kate's first friend in nursing school in Chicago. Their friendship started by studying together, but they quickly realized they had a similar sense of humor, which included a lot of laughing. The two of them started playing in a soccer league when they weren't busy with school or watching Netflix at the Kunkel house! As Kate became close with Kelly's family, Kelly also became close with Kate's family through babysitting her nieces. Kelly and Kate rarely had a day go by without spending it together in Chicago. As different as life is without seeing Kelly everyday, the two have kept in touch and traveled back and forth from Indy and Chicago to spend time together. Kelly is now a NICU nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Jon and Austin grew up about 15 minutes away from one another. Despite attending rival High Schools, and rooting fiercely against one another they officially met at Wabash College after being only aquaintences. Not only did they become somewhat unlikely friends and roomates, they also shared a living space for 3 years after College. Many of Austin's favorite memories of Jon include the Indianapolis 500 and watching cars in Jon's words "turn left" and making a loud "vroom" sound. Jon is also an avid crossfit competitor he is likely to tell you he can squat more than you if ask how much he lifts. Jon is a friend and will be the life of the party on the dance floor after the ceremony.

Susanna and Kate met at Bowdoin College where they played tennis together! People often said, you wouldn't find one without the other. If they weren't on the tennis court together, you could find them in the library, at the movies, driving to get lobster rolls, or coming up with their next prank. Susanna and Kate were together through the toughest times of college, and the most exciting. They truly hold a special place in each others hearts. After college, they moved to Chicago together where Susanna graduated from Medical School at University of Chicago. Susanna now lives in Philadelphia, where she attends residency for Neurosurgery at University of Pennsylvania. Mike and Kate became best buddies when Kate worked and lived with Mike, and the two would carpool to the gym and work everyday. They shared a lot of good conversations and music during those car rides. Mike has watched Kate grow up, wiped her tears more than once, and celebrated her victories. We can't wait to celebrate with fun Mike by our side!

Lucy and Kate met on a church trip around Europe after high school. The two hit it off immediately, and became inseparable the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, they didn't see each other much in college as they both went out of state. However, it was serendipitous that these two would bump into each other years later in the middle of Chicago. They were once again, inseparable. As Lucy was living with her parents at the time, Kate became another child for the Reser's that year. The girls would work out together, cook dinner, and watch their shows at night. Although Kate had to ditch Lucy and her husband Jon in order to be with Austin, the couples still get together often. Their favorite place to meet is the Reser's place in Pentwater, Michigan. Lucy continues to work at UPS in Chicago!

Jon and Austin met through Kate's mutual friend Lucy who is also a Bridesmaid. The two couples have become close friends and so have their dogs Martini and Auggie. Austin and Kate are hoping Lucy and Jon eventually make the move a couple hours south to Indianapolis so they can hang out more often but they are content for the time being in Chicago. Jon will have to get his football fandom figured out first however as he is currently a Titans and Bears fan. Jon and Austin can be seen taking their dogs for a stroll in the picture above.

Alec and Kate have been best friends since freshman year at Cathedral High School. During college, when the two were both home, they would spend just about everyday of the summer break together. They have constantly watched out for one another like siblings. One of Kate's favorite memories is traveling to West Point Academy, where Alec attended, for a college tennis match that Alec was able to watch. Alec went on to marry his preschool girlfriend, and fellow reader in the wedding, Emily Bannister. Alec is currently deployed oversees, and will return this spring. Austin and Kate are ecstatic for his return, as they will be living in Indianapolis together again! Emily and Alec just bought a house in the Meridian-Kessler area, so we see many fun nights in our future at the Bannister house!

Emily and Kate have stayed close throughout the years, especially now that Emily is back in Indy! She is a selfless, loyal, and genuine person. She is a constant in our hectic lives, and is there in a heartbeat whenever needed. We wouldn't be here today without Emily, as she helped Austin pull off the engagement surprise!

Molly and Kate met freshman year at Cathedral High School. Molly was well known for her school spirit, and outgoing personality. Inevitably, her and Kate became friends quickly, and Cathedral never had a quiet moment again. Molly lives in Indianapolis, so the girls were able to see each other more once Kate returned to her hometown. Instead of phone calls, skype dates, and the texting they had to do the years before, they now enjoy going to lunch, dinners, and movies together. Whenever these two are together, they never stop laughing, or talking. Molly is an amazing artist in Indianapolis, and was recently on the cover of Broadripple Arts Magazine! You can find Molly on the dance floor all night. We are so excited to have her as part of our day!
