There is very minimal public transportation on the island. If you plan on leaving your hotel and exploring the island, you will very much likely need a car. If you intend to rent a car, please do so ASAP. There is a very limited number of cars with automatic transmissions on the island and June is peak tourist season. On June 14th, there will be a bus departing the DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa at 3:40 to head to the wedding venue. The bus will depart the wedding venue promptly at 12:00 AM to head back to the DoubleTree.
