Sunday Arrival Ferry: From Portsmouth to Star Island | "The Thomas Laighton"

Dress comfortably! Plan for salty breezes while aboard.
Please check-in at the docks upon arrival as the "Rivera Wedding" in order to receive your ticket(s) to board The Challenger to Star Island. Plan to arrive early in order to allow time to check-in where you'll drop off luggage at the docks and then park if you need to. The luggage boat will depart at 11:30am. The main ferry will depart at 1:30pm. If you are driving to Portsmouth on Sunday and will be departing on Wednesday, 8/3/22, be sure to let the ISSC parking attendant know at check-in so they can park you last-in, first-out.

This is the ferry you will take to Star Island if you would like to arrive to the island in the afternoon on Monday, 8/1/22, the day before the wedding. If you are driving into Portsmouth, please note that overnight parking is not available at the ISSC docks for 1-2 nights only. Please plan instead to park at the nearby Hanover Garage on Hanover Street (~$40/24hrs). Please check-in at the docks upon arrival as the "Rivera Wedding" in order to receive your ticket(s) to board The Challenger to Star Island. Plan to arrive early in order to allow time to check-in where you'll check-in, drop off luggage at the docks, and then park if you need to.

Morning of Wedding Day Arrival Ferry | From Portsmouth to Star Island | Aboard "The Challenger"

Please RSVP to this ferry if you will be arriving in Portsmouth the morning of the wedding. Please check-in at the docks upon arrival as the "Rivera Wedding" in order to receive your ticket(s) to board The Challenger to Star Island. Plan to arrive early in order to allow time to check-in where you'll drop off luggage at the docks and then park if you need to. If you will need overnight parking, you will need to use the Hanover Garage on Hanover Street (~$40/24hrs) as it is not available at the ISSC docks for 1 overnight only.

Wedding Day Welcome Tea

Cocktail attire. Plan for soft grass and rocky hills. Please bring a face mask for use indoors.
Please RSVP if you would like to attend our Wedding Day Welcome Tea. Lite refreshments will be available. Our host will be making final day-of announcements before the start of the ceremony in the late afternoon. Or, spend this enjoying the island and we'll conserve those resources.
Wedding Ceremony
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Cocktail attire. Plan for soft grass and rocky paths. Please bring a face mask for use indoors.
Please RSVP to attend our Ceremony on Star Island where you'll help yourself to a seat outside the Stone Chapel prior to the start of the processional. The grass is soft and the rocky paths are steep so please rethink high heels.

Enjoy the sunset outdoors, passed hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and 21+ cocktails while the newlyweds take photos after the ceremony. Please RSVP prior to attending.
Wedding Reception Family Dinner
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Cocktail attire. Plan for cool weather. Please bring a face mask.
Please RSVP if you would like to attend the private wedding reception dinner with the bride and groom on Star Island. Following dinner, cake and dancing will take place in center of the Stone Village at 8:30pm.

Wednesday Return Ferry: From Star Island to Portsmouth | "The Challenger" or "The Thomas Laighton"

This is the ferry you'll be taking back to Portsmouth on Wednesday afternoon if you're not staying overnight on Star Island through Sunday, 8/7/22. Please plan to check-out of the Oceanic Hotel at the Front Desk prior to lunch so you don't miss the boat. Also, your return ticket was included in the cost of your initial trip to Star Island so you will not need a ticket to depart the island aboard this ferry. Note, you will likely will not depart from Portsmouth on Wednesday until just before 4pm.
