Charleston International Airport

We recommend guests fly into Charleston International Airport. Ubers and Lyfts are available from Charleston Airport to Kiawah Island, but otherwise you cannot request Uber and Lyft while on the island. We strongly recommend each household rent a car at Charleston airport for your stay.

The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort

The premier hotel on the island, The Sanctuary Hotel is ocean-front, beautiful, historic and centrally located on the island. The hotel can be a bit pricy, but provides everything you could want and more as a 5-star resort-- tennis, golf access, restaurants, spa, shops, pool and private beach.

House Or Rental

House or Villa Rentals

Many guests to Kiawah Island may choose to rent a home or villa. Recommended Home Rental Sites: Airbnb, VRBO, Kiawah Island Resorts, Kiawah Island Home Rentals, Akers Ellis, Sweetgrass Vacation Rentals. In order to coordinate shuttle pickups and drop-offs to the Ceremony and Reception, we kindly ask guests to select rentals near East or West Beach. There are numerous rental options in these areas. A stylish, boutique hotel operated by Marriott Hotels, located in Freshfields Village, just off island. This hotel is located within walking distance to shops, boutiques and restaurants. It is approximately a 10 minute drive to the Kiawah Security gate.
