Things To Do

While reservations are not required, we recommend making reservations ahead as May is a popular time to visit Kiawah!

Beach

You don’t want to miss enjoying a walk on Kiawah Island’s famous 10 mile beach! Enjoy a sunrise or sunset while strolling this pristine shore. You might just see the dolphins stand feeding or a Loggerhead turtle making a nest!

GOLF

Play the nation’s most awe-inspiring resort golf courses during your stay on Kiawah Island, including the infamous Ocean Course, Osprey Point, Oak Point, Turtle Point and Cougar Point. Reservations and tee times can be made on online—we encourage you to make reservations sooner, rather than later.

Biking

Bikes are a great way to explore the island during the day! We have over 30 miles of leisure trails and biking is a favorite pastime for islanders. It isn’t often you can ride your bike on the beach! Our beach is perfect as the tide goes out for a bike ride. If your hotel or villa does not include bicycles, there are numerous rental companies that will provide bikes and have them waiting for you. We recommend Kiawah Island Bike Rentals, Alligator Bikes, or Island Bike and Surf Shop.

Exploring Charleston

Historic Charleston is an approximately 45 minute drive from Kiawah Island. Plan on spending a day wandering the historic Charleston Market, shopping on King Street, taking a carriage ride or visiting Fort Sumter or Fort Multrie.

Dining

There are a variety of options for dining when visiting Kiawah Island. Whether you want a casual grab and go meal, prepare something in your villa or go out to one of our local establishments, there is something for everyone.
