Air Travel
All guests should arrange air travel to Calgary International Airport (YYC). From the Calgary Airport, Banff is a (very scenic) hour and a half drive. We recommend booking a rental car if you plan to explore the area. If you are only attending wedding events and not extending your stay, you may want to look into an airport shuttle. Many shuttles are available between the airport and Banff. Friendly reminder that a valid passport is required to travel internationally to Canada.

If you opt not to rent a car, we recommend booking a shuttle to get yourself from the Calgary airport to the town of Banff. Banff itself is very walkable once you are at a centrally located hotel. Canada Parks Pass
A Parks Canada pass is required when entering a national park in Canada. Banff National Park entry and service fees help support visitor services and facilities. Park Passes can be purchased online, at the park gates if driving to Banff National Park, or in person at the Visitor Centres in Banff and Lake Louise. The only Marriott property in Banff, this hotel opens February 2024. Please note that this hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Banff and therefore a 15 minute walk from where shuttles will depart for the ceremony.

Considered the "Castle in the Rockies" the Fairmont Banff Springs is a gorgeous hotel on the outskirts of town. Please note that this hotel is a 20 minute walk from downtown Banff and therefore a 20 minute walk from where shuttles will depart from for the ceremony. You may ask the hotel if they can shuttle you to downtown Banff but this is not guaranteed.

This hotel, located 45 minutes outside Banff, is recommended should you want to explore Lake Louise and the surrounding areas before or after the wedding. Due to its location, we do not recommend staying here Thursday or Friday night.
