BIKING & HIKING The Vail Valley offers many scenic trails for biking as well as hiking. The gondolas at Vail Mountain will not be open yet for the summer; however you can hike and ride up the mountain. Bikes, helmets, and other gear are available to rent in either Vail Village or Lionshead Village. Visit Vail's website for a Mountain Trail Map. FISHING From free casting clinics, wading in a local stream, to float trips down the Eagle River, you can find the perfect fishing trip. Talk to the concierge at your hotel to book a tee time at private courses throughout the Valley. EXPLORE VAIL VILLAGE Discover unique shops throughout Vail Village, visit Betty Ford Alpine Gardens or the Colorado Ski Museum. Other activities such as rafting and kayaking may also be available.
