Question

Do we have to drive to a different location for the reception?

Answer

No! The wedding ceremony and reception will both be at The Sixpence in Whitestown, IN!

Question

Are we able to bring our kids with us to the wedding?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. Only children of the bride and groom's family and infants under 12 months will be accommodated for. We adore your children and would love nothing more for them to share in this wonderful day with us, however, we respectfully ask that it is an adults only ceremony and reception with the above exceptions.

What will we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

This time is blocked off for pictures of the bride and groom, their families, and the wedding party. A cash bar will be open in the venue to enjoy a cocktail hour at this time!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a cash bar option available at the venue.

What will we do about parking?

Answer

There is a very large, free parking lot outside of the venue! Overcrowding of the parking lot will not be an issue!

What items will be prohibited at the venue? What are the venue rules?

Answer

No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed into the Event Space. No smoking inside the Event Space. Smoking permitted outside in specifically designated areas. Cigarettes must be disposed of properly, not thrown on the ground.

Where should out of town guests stay?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Hampton Inn in Westfield, IN for the nights of December 31, 2021 and January 1, 2022. For further details on how to book your hotel room, visit the ‘Travel’ tab on this website!

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony and reception have a semi-formal dress code.

What is the weather like in January in Indiana?

Answer

The climate in Indianapolis during January can be described as cold and reasonably dry, yet snow is possible. January in Indianapolis is typically the coldest month of the year. Daytime maximum temperatures average around 34°F, whilst at night 17°F is normal! Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held inside where it is heated!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your RSVP invitation only.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I do it online?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP online on this website under the RSVP tab. The RSVP deadline is December 4, 2021

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, we would love to accommodate your dietary needs! Let us know before December 4, 2021 what dietary options you would like to have!

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to or from the venue. We recommend creating a plan for transportation before the wedding day. If you do not have transportation we recommend carpooling with others, renting transportation, or using driving services like Uber or Lyft. If transportation is a limiting factor for you to come, please reach out to us so that we can help you get to and from the venue!
