Fair warning, the lines here can be atrocious. Get here in plenty of time if you want to enjoy this Madison fixture.
There's a set of back-corner tables with cushions and stuff that we'd highly recommend. Unbelievably cozy.
One stop on our favorite walking route. Cool retro/nuclear-themed decor, rad coffee, plenty of cozy seating.
We went on what was technically our first date here, back when it was still the Highland Espresso Bar -- go show ‘em some love, folks! Whitney particularly recommends the chocolate espresso cookie and the breakfast burrito.
It's not every day you get to have Ethiopian food. The chicken peanut stew is super good, but so is everything else here.
We regularly drag out-of-towners to this place. Will loves the chicken tikka masala and Whitney adores the chicken mango. Be prepared for leftovers.
Everything on the menu is amazing, so this would be a great place to bring a big group and eat family-style (bunch of entrees, everyone shares).
Every so often we'll walk over here, get milkshakes, and then meander over to the capitol lawn, where we'll sit on the grass and enjoy our shakes. Idyllic.
One of many museums Whitney has snapchatted.
Possibly our favorite park in Madison, tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood.
