Luca proposed to Whitney on January 3rd, three years from the day they met, at a special spot along the Arno River in Florence. Whitney wondered why Luca wore a suit to go on a casual walk, and why he wanted to go into the city center instead of his preferred walk in the hills. It clicked just moments before as he started recalling memories while approaching the spot along the river where they said previously goodbye to each other - he was about to move to Russia and they didn't know if they would see each other again. Of course, the rest is history. They celebrated by having Lampredotto and Prosecco and wandering their favorite spots in Florence, captured on film.

We will have an intimate wedding at Villa Merlo Nero in Florence, Italy, located in the hills of the city where Whitney and Luca frequently walked in early dating days. We can't wait to celebrate with you all.
