Maid of Honor
Hi, I'm Julia! I'm a PhD student at William & Mary, and the maid of honor. The majority of my free time is spent playing video games, sewing, and staring at textbooks, but I always try to make time for the people I love -- like Callie & Shade. Callie and I met when we randomly became roommates in 2019 through a mutual friend, and have been in love and successfully co-parenting a cat ever since! I'm so excited to have been able to see Callie & Shade's relationship grow and develop from the very beginning, and I'm so happy to have gained another best friend in Shade. See y'all on April 28!
Best Man
Professional Feed Salesman, semiprofessional dating app enthusiast. Jarod Cline. I met Shade through football in the eighth grade. He was a short, chubby, kid who rode the bench and couldn't catch a football. When I saw him again during summer workouts for the high school program the next year he was still short, was probably still going to ride the bench, and definitely still couldn't catch a football, but less chubby. We played together for the next three years and along with Jacob Cruise, we became great friends. By the end of my senior year, I had thrown so many bullet passes to Shade from five yards away that he could successfully catch them about half of the time. Since then, we've only gotten closer through weightlifting, watching anime, and playing an egregious amount of Pokemon for a couple of twenty somethings.
Bridesmaid
My name is Ali, I'm 24, and I currently live in Minneapolis, MN. I'm so very excited and honored to be part of Callie and Shade's wedding. My favorite Callie/Shade moment is tied between the corn field adventures, or the sweet progression of seeing Shade's shoes by our door entrance more frequently as they started dating.
Groomsman
I met Shade my very first day on Wake Forest's campus. He made such a strong impression on me that I knew I wanted to befriend him. Now, after many DnD games, hours of RA training together, photoshoots, and summer or two of weightlifting I have the honor of being a groomsman at Shade and Callie's wedding.

My husband, Rance, and I cherish the memories that we've have with Callie & Shade, and being able to watch their love flourish and grow.

I met Callie later, during my junior year, and she's been one of the best people I could have asked for in my life, and she's ow one of my best friends now too. I'm currently pursuing an additional bachelor's degree in fine arts at the University of Greensboro.

Groomsman
I met Shade through football my sophomore year of high school. I had transferred in from another school, and didn't know many people, but I did know that I didn't like this Shade feller. He was kinda cocky and a bit of a prick, but I invited him to my birthday party later that year and he brought chocolate milk, so that was pretty cool. And that's absolutely the only thing I will discuss about that birthday party. He's been a good friend, a decent drinking buddy, and an alright personal photographer when he actually sends you the photos he took. Good man, and I'm happy to see him with Callie.
Officiant
I'm Ammar, a Wake Forest graduate who loves cooking, D&D, skateboarding, and everything in between. I met Shade early in my time at Wake, and through him met Callie, and as the years wore on I found them growing to be steadfast friends.
