Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) is the closest airport, as it is just a twenty minute drive to hotels. However, this is a smaller airport, so there are fewer flight options here than at major airports. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is the closest major airport and is just a one-hour drive from Charlottesville. Alternatively, Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Reagan International Airport (DCA), both of which are located outside of Washington, D.C., are about a two-hour drive away. Rental car options are available at all airports.
