How are you handling COVID-19?

Answer

The safety and health of our guests is of the upmost importance to us on our big day. Therefore, we respectfully request that all of those in attendance be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test within three days of our wedding.

What is the attire?

Answer

This event is black-tie optional. The ceremony will be held outside in a grass field (weather permitting). We recommend wearing a sturdy heel and bringing a shawl or jacket if you think you might get cold. The sun will likely begin setting during the ceremony, so we recommend bringing sunglasses as well.

What time will buses depart?

Answer

Buses will depart from The Draftsman Hotel at 4:00 p.m. for Thomas Ridge, where the ceremony will take place. Buses that return guests from The Event Barn at Mount Ida to The Draftsman Hotel will be staggered throughout the evening. Stay tuned for more information!

How will I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The ceremony takes place on the same property as the reception, although the distance is not walkable. Guests who take the bus from The Draftsman will be shuttled from the ceremony site (Thomas Ridge) to the reception site (The Event Barn at Mount Ida) on the same bus. For guests who drive, please plan on parking on Thomas Ridge Lane for the ceremony and then driving over to and parking at the reception.

Can I drive myself?

Answer

Yes! All guests are welcome to drive. If you drive to the ceremony, please park on the side of the road on Thomas Ridge Lane. You may then drive your car from Thomas Ridge to The Event Barn at Mount Ida. Parking at The Event Barn at Mount Ida will be posted with signage.
