Think "Garden Party" attire...Sundresses, jumpsuits, maxi dresses, khakis, slacks, polos, button downs. Please no jeans or shorts. Heels not recommended due to any uneven natural ground. All events take place outdoors. It will likely be warm during the day, and cooler in the evening. You may want a sweater/jacket of some kind after the sun sets. You know we're both all about comfort, but we still want to be a little fancy for our big day. Please, wear your Chacos or flip flops if you'd like!
No. Headwaters Farm is close enough to town that you will be able to easily Uber if desired. There is plenty of parking onsite.
Yes, we love your kids too! Just remember they will need to be supervised. Your kids are individually listed on you RSVP, so make sure to respond accordingly. We have some guests who wouldn’t be able to attend if they couldn’t bring their kids. We also have some guests who are leaving the kids home to enjoy a date night/vacation without them. Do as suits your needs.
If your invite has a guest listed, they will show up when you RSVP. If you have someone you'd like to bring as a guest by the time wedding day rolls around, please ask us first. As you know, wedding numbers are very important for a few reasons.
No, please do not interact with the animals. They will likely be in their barns resting anyway.
Due to when vendors need a final count. If you’re traveling, you’ll likely know your plans well before May 22 anyway. Of course unexpected things happen - if your plans change after May 22, just let us know as soon as you can.
Yes! We both have family and friends traveling and we’d love to be able to spend time with you. We’re planning on taking time off before and after the wedding to be able to visit. As a reminder, Bend gets lots of tourists in the summer. The weekend after our wedding is July 4 weekend, and we’d recommend avoiding this super busy time (unless of course that’s the type of vacation you’re looking for!) We will be planning some gatherings and posting those closer to time, but let us know your travel plans as well, so we know when we’ll be able to see you!
There are just too many unknowns and lots of options we could utilize. We don’t have an answer right now and will figure it out if we need to. Getting vaccinated, if you can and haven’t yet, would be a good first step to increase everyone’s safety.
