While you're visiting, feel free to check out some cool spots! Below are some ideas for exploring: Historic Plymouth MA where the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock still stand, they also have a nice down-town area with some shops and yummy local restaurants. Boston, MA: there are endless activities and historical places in Boston to check out (Freedom trail tour which includes the Paul Revere House, New England Aquarium, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, dining at the top floor of the Prudential building with gorgeous views, Boston Commons and Public Garden, Franklin Park Zoo, Faneuil Hall and market place) -Boston is accessible by car (30-40 minutes from the hotel), train/subway (red line in Braintree), and even ferry boat (out of Hingham Harbor- just be sure to check the times of departure from Hingham and return from Boston as there are fewer ferries in the off-season) The town of Scituate is also close to the wedding venue and is home to the Scituate lighthouse with a jetty you can walk out on, as well as small a main street with locally-owned shops and cozy restaurants right next to the water Our favorite place to be is the beach! thankfully there are plenty of them around! some options are Nantasket beach in Hull, Hingham Harbor, Scituate, Plymouth, and our favorite: Brant Rock Beach in Marshfield where Michael proposed (there is free parking and a couple of restaurants in the area, as well as some good sea-glass, if you have the eyes for it)
