Michael and Victoria met in an 'all-girls' dorm room at Elmira College. Michael was coming to visit his friend, Bri. Victoria had just gotten back from hockey practice and stopped in to visit Bri (her across-the-hall neighbor and friend). There was an undeniable, instant connection when their eyes met, but they were both a bit shy. Victoria was leaving school and moving back to Massachusetts in a couple weeks, but when Bri offered to set the two up they both immediately said YES and never looked back. They worked through a long-distance relationship the first two years, visiting each other every chance they could. Michael would even leave his job at 9pm and make the 6 hour drive in the middle of winter with no heat in his car. If that doesn't say love, I don't know what does. Their next chapter was living in New York with the Wheelers while they both finished working part-time and getting bachelors degrees before moving back to Massachusetts to live with the Langrills while finding their full-time jobs. 13 years after that chance meeting in the dorm, they have a house full of love and three handsome dogs (Cato, Enzo, and Otis). There have been plenty of sacrifices, adventures, laughs, ups, and downs in between all these years, but they both say they wouldn't change a thing. Their love for one another is apparent to everyone they meet. You rarely see one of them without the other and their families joke they're attached at the hip. That one, chance meeting the night they met was their destiny of happiness. Their hearts are so full and they cannot wait to share their big day with you when you can all finally say "it's about time!"
