The ceremony will take place at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church. This historic church opened its doors in 1873 and last year celebrated its 150th birthday. Following the end of World War II when the church was seeing rapid growth, Munsey decided to tear down its iconic round sanctuary and replace it with a much larger structure to meet the needs of a growing congregation. The new sanctuary was built and dedicated in 1956 and officially, is where our wedding ceremony will take place.
6:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Directions: Once you get to Cherokee School, continue down Cherokee Rd until the Dead end and then turn left and follow the signs to the venue.
The post-ceremony cocktail hour and reception will be taking place at Cherokee Creek Farm located about 15 miles away from the church. Cherokee Creek Farm is an event venue located in historic Jonesborough, the oldest town in Tennessee. The farm's main building is a historic farmhouse that was built in 1830 by Jacob Brown's grandson who's family had resided on the land since 1777, when they were leasing the land from the Cherokees. The farm remained in the family until 2017 when the Lemmon's bought the property and began work restoring it to its original beauty and a beautiful event space!

This is a drop in event for all guests to be able to grab breakfast, laugh about the night before, and see the bride and groom one more time before you head home! Please do not feel obligated to stay, but we wanted to provide breakfast for those with later departure times!
