Weston had been living in Nashville for about a year when he met Liz, who had just moved back to the city in Spring of 2018. Their new (now old and beloved) friends invited them to trivia at Tailgate Brewery, where they connected immediately over their shared sense of humor and interests. Several trivias later in May, Weston asked Liz out for their first date at Cafe Coco. They spent the whole night talking and laughing, venturing out to Santa’s Pub to extend the night. Liz and Weston spent that summer apart while Weston was in Erie, PA. They exchanged letters and bananas in the mail and met up for a camping trip. When the summer came to a close, they made their relationship official. Since then, Weston and Liz have had a lot of good times and adventures. Trips to who-knows-how-many U.S. states and a couple other countries, too. Lots of time spent with their ever-intertwining community of wonderful family and friends. They chose to get married in Mexico partially out of a love for travel and culture, but even more so that they could spend extended quality time with their loved ones to mark the beginning of their marriage.
