Swim Suits & Lounge Wear
Let's all get together before the wedding to relax, picnic & eat on da beach. Come over to the beach with us to eat some food, swim & catch up before the busy day. We will have food for everyone. Please bring your own drinks. Kahekili Beach Park is a picnic area directly next to our resort at the Westin. It's a boardwalk-lined public beach with a covered picnic pavilion, barbecue grills, showers & restrooms. Please park your car at the beach's public parking area or in the parking lot to your first right after you've entered through the Westin gate area. Both areas are free to park in (we've double-checked with the Westin regarding their parking lot to the right-hand side after entering their entrance gate). We can't wait to see you all! Aloha

Beach Attire / Island-Formal: Light, thin, breathable fabrics are best, otherwise you will be uncomfortable. Females: maxi-dresses, short-length dresses & sandals. Men: short-sleeved button up shirts, such as golf polos or Hawaiian style shirts, khaki shorts & sandals. Suits are welcomed, but you will be warm. We highly recommend open-toed shoes for your comfort due to the heat.
Complimentary parking is included here at Olowalu Plantation. The parking lot is less than a 100ft walk from the ceremony site. There are restrooms available outside the Olowalu Plantation house. The inside of the house is reserved for the wedding party only. Please arrive early enough to park, sign the guestbook, sign our newlywed advice cards and be seated in time for the ceremony. The ceremony starts promptly at 2:00pm. After the ceremony we ask everyone to please stay nearby for a large group photo before heading off to cocktail hour. We ask our family to stay nearby longer for family photos following the group photo. Mahalo and Aloha. Complimentary to our guests will be a variety of beer, wine, champagne, Passionfruit-Orange-Guava juice and water. Reception including cocktail hour, dinner and dancing will follow the ceremony. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Bathing suit, towel, sunblock & flip flops for the Black Sandy Beach. You will need comfortable shoes or water shoes for the bamboo hike (Ben & I wear flip flops; you know what you're comfortable wearing), light clothing, snacks/food & water.
Want to join on a gorgeous sight-seeing activity with us? We plan to visit the Black Sandy Beach at Waianapanapa State Park & then hike to Waimoku Falls through the infamous Bamboo Forest! We'll meet at the Longs Drug Store parking lot at 9:45AM & leave at 10AM SHARP. Plan to drive your own car or possibly carpool. Please fill your gas tank before meeting up. It takes 2 hours to drive to the Black Sandy Beach. We'll head there 1st for a quick dip, rolling around & sight seeing for about an hour. Then we'll head down the road 40min to the infamous Bamboo Hike to Waimoku Falls located at the Seven Sacred Pools. It's a 2-mile hike to reach the 200ft-tall Waimoku Waterfall- the tallest waterfall on the island of Maui. Then we will hike 2 miles back (4 miles total). You'll need $10 to park at the Haleakala National Park to access the Bamboo Forest Hike. The hike is a difficulty level of about 5/10 with no steep hills, but mild rolling hills. It will be hot & humid so water is priority.
