The Proposal

8.10.2019

While celebrating their 5 year Anniversary of dating in Maui, Ben popped the question, asking Diana to share their life together. It was after a wonderful day spent at their favorite waterfall on the East Side of Maui, where they enjoyed each other under the sun and waterfall. When the day ended, after a romantic dinner, Ben asked Diana to go on a walk along the beach in Kahana where they were staying. With four feet in the sand, Ben began to express his love for Diana and his promise to always love and protect her. The intensity grew when he dropped to one knee in the sand and asked for her hand in marriage. She said, "Yes!" and as he slipped her ring into place on her finger, the Maui wave came up and surprised both of them, washing their feet in the sand. It was a perfect moment for them, knowing Momma Maui accepted their love and marriage proposal with her gentle, warm wave. You know how the evening ends...

Our Wish For Our Wedding Day

We apologize if this is an inconvenience...

We're elated to tie the knot and become a married Schembri couple at our most favorite place in the world, Maui. It holds a very special place in our hearts as it is where we've celebrated our anniversaries for the past few years, many previous birthdays and recently our engagement. There is no other place we would rather become one than in Maui. We feel the Aloha spirit when we have our feet on the Maui sand and grass and are excited to have you there to share this Aloha feeling with us. There is no other place that makes us feel the way Maui does. We're beyond elated to get Maui'd in Maui. As it is a destination wedding, we're unable to invite plus one guests and children. We're very sorry. Our wedding is by invite only as our venue budget can only accommodate those we invite. We know it will be hard for everyone to attend and have no hard feelings if you're unable to make it. We hope to meet you in Maui to share our Aloha. Let's Get Maui'd xoxo

Feel the Aloha...

One of the best things about Maui is the amazing weather and gorgeous beaches. Maui is the only place in the world where you can find white sanded beaches, red sanded beaches and black sanded beaches. It's also home to the infamous Road to Hana- 50 miles of coastline with 620 curves and 59 bridges along the way. You will see many waterfalls and lush, tropical rainforests on this drive, as well as the famous Rainbow Eucalyptus tree. Our favorite part about Maui is all its beaches around the entire island are open to the public. You can access any beach you would like, regardless if it sits on resort property. The only beaches that are private and off limits are those that sit on private residences or homes. It's whale season in March so keep your eyes peeled for jumping whales out in the ocean. You will see them jumping only 100's of feet out from the sandy shore. Grab a mai tai, soak up the sun, take a nap, read a book, get a tan, enjoy your vacation and soak up all the Aloha feels while you're here with us...
