Trains, planes, or automobiles; we just wanna see you. The wedding is in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The city is easy to get to and get around, and all of the events will be taking place downtown. There is plenty of parking and hotel options around, and downtown is very walkable. Why not make a weekend out of it?

Gerald R. Ford International Airport

Grand Rapids has a full airport! Really! There regretfully is no public transit to/from, but there are rental car services, taxi, and rideshare options available. Alternatively, if you feel like flying then driving, there is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (approx. 2.5 hours), Midway International Airport (approx. 3 hours), and O'Hare International Airport (approx. 3.5 hours).

While we have a block of rooms reserved at The Canopy (above), we understand that the block will not be enough for everyone. We also understand that people have their own hotel brand/type/location/vibe preferences, and Grand Rapids has many options available. Therefore, instead of reserving additional blocks of rooms at specific hotels, we trust you all to find the hotel that suits you best and is still convenient for the festivities. We do still recommend you stay downtown or near it, but we will leave the rest to you. Regretfully, many of the hotels in Downtown Grand Rapids do not provide free parking. However, there are still many parking options near the venue or within walking distance, including those specifically offered by the Canopy and other hotels.
